The studios provide a fully comprehensive interior design service for both residential and commercial clients, working independently and collaboratively to suit the needs of the project.  

Particular emphasis is placed on a sympathetic use of colour, pattern and materials, and an eclectic aesthetic – often combining antiques and modern furniture, fine art and sculpture – but always with comfort and practicality in mind. We aim to create natural-looking spaces with stylistic flair that do not feel over-designed.

Initially, we work very closely with the client, understanding their needs and exploring layout options, fine tuning to ensure the spaces function harmoniously. To achieve this, comprehensive architectural drawing packages are prepared by our drawing studio using CAD software, combined with renders and traditional hand drawings. The drawing package will include every design aspect of a project from detailed plans and elevations to full size technical drawings for detailed cabinetry and custom-designed furniture. Throughout the process, consideration is taken to the integration and coordination of building services, lighting, controls and audio visual.

Collaboration and quality of workmanship are extremely important to the practice. We work with highly-skilled cabinetmakers, upholsterers, curtain makers, artisans and artists where each detail is considered carefully.

The practice most often works as part of a larger design team, and has extensive experience in working with many and varied architectural practices worldwide, as well as the specialist consultants associated with such projects.
